Equines of Anuket!
We are a brand new, equine, semi-literate roleplaying community. What makes us say Semi-literate, you may ask? Well, I've got an answer. Though the base colors of our equine characters must be realistic, you can have any number of oddly colored markings. Blue mane? Heck ya! This site is for Intermediate-advanced roleplay, and we boast our rank proudly. Because of this, our posts our no shorter than 150 words, and a biography of equal skill is required. But we have friendly members and a comfy spamming board xD So come on in and take a look around, before I blab some more!
Etched in Stone The rules are located here, as well as other topics that need to or should be read. The 'Rules Thread' is stickied, all other threads that need to be read have a star(Ex: *) in the title place, along with the title. Character Tracker The character tracker. If you have more than one character you can come here and jot down whatever you want about them; their friends, family, enemies, crush, whatever. Feel free to post lyrics resembling your cat's persona as well. There is no form for this, go crazy[but not literally, please. Crazy people scare me >_>]! Moderator: ♥ Denim
Terontu Lake Terontu Lake is the center of life in Anuket. It supplies the water for all rivers and any watersources. Multiple fresh-water springs go into it, as well as other sources. It's shores are far apart, and it is nestled in the very center of Anuket. The waters are deep and blue, often enough calm and pristine. All matter of wildlife come here to drink and replenish themselves. Predators are not commonly seen. It is the most social place there is. It is also the claiming ground. Females and males alike can come here to be claimed. Moderator: ♥ Denim
Eminy Forest Eminy is a lively place indeed! Bords chatter constantly, tall oaks tower above equines' heads, and squirrels flit about bussily. Predators ca often be seen, but are not a major threat. This woodland is right of the shores of Terontu. It is secluded, and the promise of privacy is there for anyone who cares to look. It is often known as the breeding grounds. Though countless crimes and force-breedings have taken place here, it remains perpetually happy. Moderator: ♥ Denim
Terabu Field The brother to Mesafu Field, located in the Anuket terra. It is a large field, filled with long, golden colored grasses and random splotches of green. Horses may come here to graze, socialize, or meet in general. There are very few predators here, because of the steady flow of equine numbers coming in and out. In most parts it is very quiet though; secluded. That is why this area is also used for a birthing land. No killings, force-breedings, or force-claimings can be made here. Moderator: ♥ Denim
Shaft-Rock Pass Shaft-Rock is undoubtedly the most dangerous of lands in Anuket. The only entrance to the lands, it leads into the Rashmut desert. Winds from the desert are constantly howling against it's barren rocks faces, and sand blows fiercely. The rocks are sharp, jagged, and extremely steep. A single path is worn into the stone; should any dare to step from said path, they face a certain fate. Only mad equines wishing to leave the lands walk through here, either that or those wishing to enter; which is understandable. Either way, it is a considerably dangerous place, and trecks through the mountains. Moderator: ♥ Denim

Rashmut Desert This barren place is hardly ever visited by the Anuket inhabitants. It is deadly, and lethal in the worst way. A beast could die of thirst within 3 days out here. It is nothing but unbearable temperatures and endless sand. The desert carries on for an unsurpassed amount of miles, and only though foolish enough to go outside the pass and brave the winds can be found. Moderator: ♥ Denim

IC:: Lands of the Anuket[light]
Headquarters The headquarters could basically be described as the main social area of the alliances. Each of the alliances have one located in their designated land space. The main alpha and his alphess, plus all their heirs or prince/princesses make their homes here. Many other equines do as well. In the case of the Anuket, Headquarters is located in the direct center of their land, beside a sunny pond named Shoal. A clearing surrounds it, small streams leading from it. The tall grass surrounding it makes for perfect bedding. The area is actually quite big. In this case, it's more of a social area than planning. Moderator: ♥ Denim

Mesafu Field As fields are very uncommon in Anuket realm, this particular one seems to be treasured. You can find countless horses here at all hours of the day. Much like the Terabu field at the East Side. Long grasses sprout from the ground, golden-green in color, which make a perfect place for grazing. Short clearings boast stunted trees and large rocks. Occasional waterways run through this area, but mostly it is void of streams, rivers, and the like. It is a wondrous place for predators to lurk, so if you go there, you'd best go there in numbers, else face the wrath of all manner of deviants. Moderator: ♥ Denim

Dreseil Creek Dreseil creek is a sunny little stream that runs on the outskirts of Mesafu Field. Despite it's placid appearance, the creek is deep and quite wicked, often twisting horses down it's rapids and to their depths. The waters are clear and cold, with an assortment of rocks at the bottom, sometimes even jewels and rare stones. The creek easily floods to dangerous depths and should be avoided during the time of spring. It is a common place to stop and drink before entering the field. Moderator: ♥ Denim

Plummet Hill One of the more mildly named terras, without much exotic flare. This hill is large, steep, and full of grass. A ditch locates at the bottom, full of rumbling water. Trees are scattered about, and it's a lovely place for grazing.. that is, if you can hold your footing. Friends come here to meet eachother, and foals can often be found frolicking. The sun is high, and often the place is warm. Though an unfriendly aura floats about it, and cold eyes seem always to be drilling into your back. Watch it; you might as well lose yourself in the haunts of Plummet Hill. Moderator: ♥ Denim

IC:: Lands of the Sekhmet[neutral]
Headquarters The Headquarters of the Sekhmet are located below a sharply formed ridge in the center of their territory. The Meesa Desert surrounds it, whilst a fairly small river curves through the lands, flying over the ridge with an astounding leap. Natural caves and tunnels wind through the rock, a perfect place for horses' homes. The steepness of the ridge keeps the equines safe from all matter of nasty desert behavior. The waterfall we were previously talking about settles into a pond near the tunnels, providing much needed water. Moderator: ♥ Denim
White Knight Lake White Knight lake has forever been a place of religion. For generations upon generations, equines have reported seeing spirits of former lovers and the like drifting the edge.Of course, it serves a very real, very important purpose as well. In the sandy lands of the Sekhmet, water is a beloved resource, never wasted. WNL is a fresh-water source, and known to have sacred and healing waters. It's shores are completely white, as though bleached by the waters. The sand is soft as silk, and very fine indeed. It seems to emit an ether-real sense about it, even more so at night. Meesa Desert Stretching over almost 3/4 of the Sekhmet's lands, this is the main occupier of their terra. It is a vast desert, though nothing compared to the Rashmut. The temperatures hovers at about 60 F in winter, and up to 100 degrees F in summer. Water is scarce, except for the few rives that run, and White Knight Lake. The temperatures at night can drop to the teens and lower. Anyone not prepared for this cruel climate can perish easily. The Sekhmet are masters at surviving in it's depths, and can easily disappear in the roving dunes. Moderator: ♥ Denim

Danjo Lacking a proper identification title, many people are often confused as to what Danjo is. Well, it's a forest. The only forest in Sekhmet territory, and covering a very small bit. It's a lightly forested area, not like your average. The ground is sandy as often as not, and the dirt that does exist houses only desert scrub. Grasses can be found in some places, long and green. The trees are small but stout, and are always sprouting green. Bubbling streams curl happily; it's a place of happiness and new life. Moderator: ♥ Denim

IC:: Lands of the Osiris[dark]
Headquarters Headquarters of the Osiris? You'd best not visit this place. Even members of the heard try to avoid their alpha and alphess, much less strangers. Members in favor are often here, chatting or resting. It is located at the far northern edge of their terra, where the dark forest lap against the mountain edges. A sheer rock face stretches above the natural cave that makes the Osiris headquarters. Said rockface leads to even sheerer mountains. A waterfall roars down the face, extending a thunderous blanket over the entrance to the humongous cave. Despite the intensity of the waterfall, the pond it settles in is shallow and large, a river sprouting from it's eastern side. Pine trees lead right up to the rock face, and it is commonly dark in the area. It certainly fits this alliance, no? Moderator: ♥ Denim

Black Forest Quite a creative bunch, aren't they? The Osiris reside as far north as possible, and that means colder temperatures, and in some cases, colder hearts. But anywho, the Black forest sprawls across the majority of Osiris lands. It is a collection of darkly colored pines, forever encased in their shadowed needles. The ground below is completely vegetation free, and often-times, void of light. Rivers often cut swatches in the trees, swift and black as night. Predators lurk these lands, often described as hulking monsters doubled in size./ Though truly the predators are most often wolves, just a little larger than normal. Bears have been known to wander here, as well. Moderator: ♥ Denim

Great Rock The Great Rock. I'm sure if you gave them the chance, the current Osiris could come up with a much better name. But alas, they keep the original title. Great rock is a rather barren place, stretching quite a ways. Sun warms it's crevices, even though it seems the place is always frigid cold. So what is Great Rock, you may ask? It is a large, flat plain of rock. Anonymous, grey rock. Featureless. It has forever been used as a battleground and place of torture. Many banished horses are sent here. There is no grass, and the gaunt frames of predatory monsters can be seen through the ever-curling mists. The wind howls constantly and makes the place unbearably cold. Hills and jagged arches loop in scattered places. Moderator: ♥ Denim

Obsidian Mine Incorrectly named, this hulking mass is actually a river. Granted, it could a mine, what with it's depth and width. Probably the largest river in all of Anuket, the Obsidian cuts a large swath through the forests of the Osiris. It's waters are deadly, frigid, and oddly enough, black. Black as obsidian jewel. No one knows why, it just is. I would advise you to stay well enough away from here,as many a horse have been drowned. The currents are horrible. Moderator: ♥ Denim
